We are seeking for a luggage handler. Job would involve collecting and transporting luggage from the jetty, unloading and sorting deliveries, and assisting with various outside service tasks around the property.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical outdoor work, being part of a supportive team, and contributing to smooth daily operations.


Key Responsibilities:

Luggage Operations:

  • Work within a small team to collect luggage from the jetty, typically moved in stillages.
  • Operate the Jetty forklift to load and unload stillages onto trucks.
  • Transport luggage back to base and manually unload and sort into delivery runs.
  • Load delivery trucks with the sorted luggage and deliver to the appropriate chalets.

Outside Services Assistance:

  • Assist with raking, sweeping, and collecting green waste and litter.
  • Operate blowers and whipper snippers to maintain grounds and public areas.
  • Remove branches and debris and transport to landfill as required.
  • Shovel sand or mulch and perform other general labouring duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Manual Driver’s Licence (International licence acceptable if manual).

    • WA Licence (Class C): Unlimited driving rights.
    • Interstate Licence: Valid for first 3 months, must transfer to WA licence within that period.
    • International Licence: Valid for first 3 months, must transfer to WA licence within that period.
  • LF Forklift Licence – Preferred or willingness to obtain (essential).
  • White Card (Construction Induction) – Essential.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and outdoor work.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a small team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
